Product Owner
Your Role
Join us as a Product Owner and become a key part of the magic that we create at Shelly. You’ll take full ownership of the development of new products — from that first “what if…” moment to seeing your creation installed in homes and businesses around the world. You’ll drive product strategy, shape the roadmap, and collaborate across teams to bring bold ideas to life.
What Makes you a great fit
- You have experience driving strategic product direction, with a focus on day-to-day execution.
- You have 3+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or product design.
- You posses a strong intuition for product interaction design and user experience.
- You are exceptional at written and verbal communication.
- You have excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights.
- You are experienced working closely with both technical and non-technical team members.
- You have a strong interest in the Internet of Things, Home Automation, Smart Homes, and Marketplace industries.
- The English language has no secrets for you.
Your Responsibilities
- Own and lead the product strategy, design, and roadmap of the Shelly devices, from concept to launch.
- Understand market needs and identify with customers to deliver a world-class customer experience.
- Coordinate and align product initiatives across internal teams, establishing a shared vision and gaining buy-in.
- Clear bottlenecks and manage interdependencies to help define product priorities.
- Maintain the product backlog and execute the product go-to-market plan.
- Collaborate with engineers to overcome roadblocks and evaluate trade-offs when necessary.
- Monitor and measure success metrics post-launch, incorporating feedback into the product development process.
- Run data-driven experiments, usability studies, and analysis to inform product direction.
- Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to all audiences — including internal teams, the company at large, and external developers.
- Conduct pre-certification testing and manage communication with certification labs and authorities.
- Prepare and support product documentation to meet certification requirements.
- Prepare and support user manuals and all technical documentation.
