Performance Marketing Specialist
Your Role
You lead paid digital acquisition for Shelly in North America, with a strong focus on driving consumer growth and turning attention into purchases on us.shelly.com. You own performance across key paid channels, test new opportunities, and help us scale both DTC and B2B campaigns in one of our most exciting growth markets.
Despite working with US, this role is with standard working hours.
Job requirements
What makes you a great fit:
• You have 6+ years of hands-on experience managing paid digital campaigns, ideally for US-market tech, ecommerce, or consumer electronics products.
• You have deep expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
• You have strong working knowledge of at least two additional platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, or programmatic advertising.
• You understand how to build full-funnel campaigns, from awareness and consideration to conversion, retargeting, and repeat purchase.
• You are comfortable managing significant ad budgets and take clear ownership of CAC, ROI, ROAS, and revenue impact.
• You are highly analytical and confident working with GA4, ad platform reporting, spreadsheets, attribution data, and ecommerce funnel metrics.
• You use data to make decisions, but you also understand how creative, messaging, audience quality, and landing pages affect performance.
• You know how to test audiences, creative formats, bidding strategies, placements, and new channels in a structured way.
• You communicate clearly and turn performance insights into practical recommendations for creative, ecommerce, sales, and leadership teams.
• You are self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working with a Sofia-headquartered team while collaborating daily with US-based marketing and sales colleagues.
• You bring experience with international consumer marketing and understand that messaging, behavior, and metrics can differ by market.
• Experience with smart home, IoT, home improvement, building technology, Shopify, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or programmatic buying is a plus.
Job responsibilities
• You plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns for the North American market across Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and other relevant channels.
• You own budget allocation across platforms and shift spend toward the campaigns, audiences, and formats that perform best.
• You drive DTC acquisition for us.shelly.com through full-funnel strategies that cover awareness, traffic, conversion, and retargeting.
• You analyze campaign, ecommerce, and funnel data to spot growth opportunities, diagnose performance issues, and recommend the next move.
• You partner with the creative team to brief ad concepts, share learnings from live campaigns, and shape clear A/B testing roadmaps.
• You set up new advertising channels or platforms and connect them with our existing ecommerce and analytics setup.
• You build and test B2B campaigns targeting electricians, system integrators, property managers, facility teams, and other professional buyers.
• You design audience segments using role-based, interest-based, behavioral, and firmographic targeting.
• You run structured experiments, scale what works, and cut what does not.
• You report results clearly to leadership and connect spend to business outcomes, not just platform metrics.
• You work closely with the US marketing team to feed performance data back into messaging, landing pages, promotions, and creative direction.
• You collaborate with the global performance team to share learnings, tactics, campaign structures, and market insights.
• You stay ahead of platform changes, new ad formats, privacy updates, targeting shifts, and paid media trends that affect US campaign strategy.
