Your key responsibilities:

• Support UBB and all KBC Group entities in Bulgaria in achieving their strategic sustainability objectives, contributing to the development of a lending, insurance, and services portfolio that effectively manages environmental and climate-related risks
• Participate in the collection, management, and analysis of clients’ ESG data, and support the preparation of sustainability-related reports across KBC Group entities in Bulgaria
• Contributes to the expansion of sustainable finance opportunities by coordinating and supporting cross-functional teams involved in the development and implementation of sustainable products, services, and solutions
• Monitor developments in sustainability-related regulations, standards, and market practices, and assist in the implementation of relevant regulatory requirements within KBC Group Bulgaria
• Develop proposals and support the execution of marketing, communication, and awareness initiatives related to sustainable finance across KBC Group Bulgaria.
• Contribute to the identification, establishment, and management of strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, industry organizations, and institutions to advance KBC Group Bulgaria’s sustainable finance agenda

You are the right candidate if you have:

• University degree in Economics, Engineering or Ecology
• Experience in banking/ consulting/ economics/ engineering/ ecology
• Additional qualifications and experience in Sustainability are a plus
• Reporting and data processing skills
• Knowledge of key sustainability regulations, definitions, indicators, calculation
• Knowledge related with CSRD reports, double materiality analysis, ESG Taxonomy analysis, etc.
• Fluency in English
