• Propose, design, and maintain advanced data solutions using PostgreSQL and ClickHouse to support large-scale data analytics.
• Manage large datasets efficiently by using strategies like data partitioning and sharding.
• Optimize database performance, including query tuning, indexing, cache management, and other techniques.
• Design, implement, and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines for high-speed data ingestion.
• Aid with updating monitoring and alerting metrics to proactively manage database health and performance.
• Work closely with data analysts, product owners, database administrators, and application developers to meet analytical and reporting requirements.
• Troubleshoot for database-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation including database structures, processes, and performance metrics.
• Promote and adhere to best practices for database design and management.
• Continuously explore new features and improvements to enhance performance.
• Write scripts for automation of routine tasks and improving operational efficiency.

Изисквания

• Proven working experience as a Database Developer
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications
• Excellent knowledge of relational (ideally PostgreSQL) and analytical (column-based, ideally ClickHouse) databases
• Proficiency in working with large datasets and high-volume transactions
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience with query optimization and performance tuning
• Familiarity with database design and documentation
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes
• Familiarity with programming languages
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• BS degree in a computer discipline or relevant certification
