On behalf of our trusted partner, a leading energy company engaged in the refining, distribution, and retail of petroleum products, we are looking for a professional to take on the role of:
QHSE Coordinator
Key responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of QHSE systems and propose improvements
Coordinate the Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies
Conduct internal audits across sites and offices, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions
Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE procedures, policies, and documentation
Lead risk assessments related to workplace safety, environmental impact, and product/service quality
Support the development of QHSE strategies, programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
Promote a strong safety culture through training, coaching, and awareness programs
Investigate incidents, accidents, and environmental issues and recommend preventive measures
Coordinate emergency preparedness plans and organize drills and training sessions
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and occupational health providers
Monitor certification compliance and ensure all required permits remain valid
Support sustainability and ESG reporting through data collection and analysis
Contribute to supplier selection processes related to safety equipment and workwear
Participate in field activities, including inspections, audits, and training sessions (travel required, up to ~30%)
Main requirements:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
Proven experience in health, safety, environment, and/or quality management
Strong knowledge of relevant legal frameworks and regulatory requirements
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Good command of English (written and spoken)
Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy
High level of integrity, discretion, and reliability
