Tooling Engineer / Tooling Equipment Engineer

For our trusted client, we are looking for Tooling Engineer / Tooling Equipment Engineer.

We are looking for an experienced Tooling Engineer to support the design, maintenance, repair, and improvement of tooling equipment and production fixtures used in manufacturing processes.

The role involves coordination with production teams and external suppliers, preparation of technical documentation, and active participation in tooling optimization and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

•    Design and maintain tooling equipment, including injection molds, stamping dies, fixtures, and production tools
•    Prepare technical drawings and engineering documentation according to internal standards and procedures
•    Organize and support preventive and emergency repairs of tooling equipment
•    Participate in the development and implementation of tooling and process improvements
•    Coordinate activities with external suppliers and subcontractors
•    Support prototype and pilot production activities
•    Prepare requests for materials, components, and tooling parts related to new developments or modifications
•    Maintain and manage measuring instruments and calibration activities
•    Provide technical support to production and project teams
•    Assemble, adjust, repair, and test tooling equipment and specialized components
•    Operate conventional machining equipment when required (lathe, milling, EDM)
•    Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety, and environmental standards
•    Participate in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

•    University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in tooling engineering, mold making, or related manufacturing environment
•    Strong knowledge of tooling design, injection molds, stamping dies, and manufacturing technologies
•    Experience with technical drawings and engineering documentation
•    Hands-on experience with machining and tooling maintenance activities is considered an advantage
•    Good understanding of production processes and industrial equipment
•    Experience with MS Office, ERP systems, and SolidWorks
•    Good command of English
•    Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
•    Ability to work both independently and within a team
•    Proactive attitude and attention to detail
