For our trusted client, we are looking for Renewable Assets Monitoring Engineer.  


Responsibilities:

•    Monitor solar, wind and storage assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and market requirements
•    Maintain stable and efficient operations by identifying alarms, anomalies and performance issues
•    Respond to abnormal conditions to ensure safety and continuity of power supply
•    Develop and improve SOPs and escalation procedures
•    Optimize performance to maximize efficiency, revenue and compliance
•    Coordinate with TSOs, grid operators, and subcontractors for maintenance and incident response
•    Record data, maintain logs, and generate reports
•    Use SCADA and monitoring tools to track and resolve real-time issues
•    Collaborate across teams and maintain documentation for SCADA and control systems

 

Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
•    3+ years of experience with BESS and/or Solar PV systems
•    Experience with SCADA and Power Plant Control (PPC) systems
•    Knowledge of databases (SQL, InfluxDB or similar)
•    Understanding of communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, RS-485, etc.)
•    Familiarity with data security and secure communication principles
•    Strong IT skills (MS Office; Python, Power BI, Grafana – advantage)
•    Fluent English (written and spoken)
•    Strong analytical thinking, attention to safety and compliance
•    Good communication and teamwork skills
