We are currently looking for a senior HR & Office Operations Manager for one of our global clients.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Office Managing Partner on HR strategy, planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Manage the full employment lifecycle, including job descriptions, labor and mandate contracts, statutory registrations, onboarding, absences, performance and attestation cycles, terminations, and offboarding.
- Coordinate recruitment for lawyers, interns, and business-services staff, including liaison with recruitment agencies, candidate screening, shortlisting, interviews, and offers.
- Oversee the HR side of the payroll cycle in coordination with the in-house accounting team, and maintain accurate HR systems, databases, and the lockstep remuneration matrix.
- Support training planning, professional development communications, internal announcements, employee engagement initiatives, and benefit programs.
- Run health and safety, labor-medicine, and annual medical examination processes; administer related insurance policies and claims.
- Monitor time-recording compliance and support timely, accurate time entry across the firm.
- Provide senior oversight of office operations, including facilities, vendor relationships, travel logistics, supplies, and workplace coordination.
Requirements
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of generalist HR experience.
- Strong working knowledge of the Bulgarian Labor Code, payroll, tax, and social-security obligations.
- Hands-on experience overseeing payroll cycles.
- Demonstrable recruitment experience across professional or qualified roles.
- Fluent English and Bulgarian.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HR systems; SAP HR experience is an advantage.
