ProCredit Bank Bulgaria is looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Expert Accounting to join our Accounting team at the Head office in Sofia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting operations for the Bank as a legal entity
- Process and book financial documents and transactions
- Handle asset accounting: acquisitions, disposals, revaluations
- Issue invoices and manage business advances
- Reconcile accounts and monitor cashflows daily
- Participate in annual inventory
- Communicate with external institutions (tax authorities, auditors, etc.)
- Prepare internal reports and regulatory declarations
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of VAT, corporate tax, income tax, social security, and related legislation
- Familiarity with local and international accounting standards
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Experience in banking or financial institutions preferred
- Proficient in MS Office; strong technical and analytical skills
- Upper-intermediate English
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
