Assistant Team Manager - Accounting

We are looking for a motivated motivated specialist with at least 5 years of accounting experience. This is your opportunity to work on challenging projects, learn from experienced professionals and develop in a collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Maintaining accounting records in various software platforms for clients from multiple industries.
• Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and communication with authorities.
• Advise clients on the accounting implications of business operations and complex transactions.
• Participate in tax and financial due diligence and structuring processes.
• Represent clients before tax authorities and other authorities.
• Study IFRS, Bulgarian GAAP and international tax law.
• Mentor junior team members and actively participate in client projects.
• Assist Team Manager with organizing the workflow of the team.
• Take ownership of some commitments of the team.

What we are looking for:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting/tax systems.
• Independent, detail-oriented and ready to learn.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or taxes in an accounting firm or company or audit firm.
