In 2025, the Bulgaria Wants You event in Sofia is taking on a new look, concept, and scale—bringing fresh value, structure, and meaning for all stakeholders, from leading employers to Bulgarians seeking new career opportunities.
The career forum on June 14 will unfold across over 3,600 m² in two expo halls of Sofia’s Inter Expo Center, featuring two stages at opposite ends, each with a distinct, engaging, and insightful program for visitors.
The event will be officially opened by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Rumen Radev.
Stage “Successes and Lessons”
On the “Successes and Lessons” stage, some of the most accomplished Bulgarians abroad will share the spotlight with their equally accomplished fellow professionals in Bulgaria. Through engaging conversations moderated by renowned hosts, they will explore the price of success, and the similarities and contrasts between professional and personal fulfillment abroad and in Bulgaria.
Confirmed speakers include Maria Bakalova, Tzvetana Maneva, Dimitar Marinov, Julian Vergov, Monika Evstatieva (Producer at the largest U.S. public radio network), Boyko Vassilev, Alexander Atanasov from Tesla Motors, alpine ski champion Albert Popov, entrepreneurs Ivaylo Penchev and Dimitar Stanchev, and many more.
Moderators: Ivan Hristov, Andrey Arnaudov, and Marina Tsekova.
Stage “Leaders of Change”
The “Leaders of Change” stage will showcase best practices in innovation and investment, regional development success stories, career and HR trends, and educational priorities, presented through talks, panel discussions, and workshops.
Among the confirmed speakers are Magardich Halvadjian, Hristo Popov, Dobroslav Dimitrov, Radoslav Nikolov, Vladimir Grozdanov, and other distinguished professionals, along with senior representatives of local and national authorities.
