This Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used by DNA MEDIA AD, UIC 205882707, with its registered office and management address at Floor 3, 22 Galichitsa Street, Lozenets District, Sofia 1164 (the "Operator", "we", "us" or "our"), when you visit and use the bulgariawantsyou.com platform (the "Platform").
Some cookies collect information that constitutes personal data. This Policy should therefore be read together with the Privacy Policy bulgariawantsyou.com/en/privacy-policy and the Terms and Conditions bulgariawantsyou.com/en/terms-of-use, which explain how we process and protect your personal data and what rights you have.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
1.1. Cookies are small text files stored on your terminal device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit the Platform, enabling the Platform to recognise your device on a subsequent visit.
1.2. In addition to cookies, we use the following similar technologies, to which this Policy applies accordingly:
browser local and session storage (local storage, session storage);
pixels and invisible images embedded in web pages or emails;
software development kits (SDKs) embedded in the mobile application, if one is provided.
1.3. Depending on the party that places them, cookies may be first-party cookies (placed by the Platform) or third-party cookies (placed by external providers whose services we have integrated).
1.4. Depending on their duration, cookies may be session cookies, which are deleted when the browser is closed, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a specified period or until you delete them.
2. Legal Basis
2.1. The storage of information in, and access to information from, your terminal device are governed by Article 4a of the Electronic Commerce Act. Pursuant to that provision, such storage or access is permitted after you have been provided with clear and comprehensive information in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and have been given the opportunity to refuse the storage or access.
2.2. The requirements under Clause 2.1 do not apply to cookies that are necessary for the provision of an information society service explicitly requested by you (Article 4a(4)(2) of the Electronic Commerce Act). These are strictly necessary cookies and do not require consent.
2.3. Where personal data are processed through a cookie, the processing is carried out on the following basis:
your consent - Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 - for functional, analytics and marketing cookies;
our legitimate interests - Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation - for strictly necessary cookies relating to security, authentication and the proper operation of the Platform.
2.4. Consent is obtained through a consent management banner on your first visit, before any cookies other than strictly necessary cookies are placed. Refusing consent is as easy as giving it, and your failure to take any action shall not be interpreted as consent.

Note: a marketing category is included only if the Platform actually uses advertising or remarketing tools. If no such tools are implemented, this row shall be deleted from both the banner and this Policy.

The table reflects the standard configuration of the providers listed. The complete and current list, including the exact names and durations, is maintained automatically through the consent management platform and is available at any time through the cookie banner.
5. Third Parties and Transfers outside the EEA
5.1. Third-party cookies are placed and managed by the relevant provider in accordance with its own privacy policy. We have no control over the content of these cookies or their subsequent use by the provider.
5.2. Some of these providers are established outside the European Economic Area or may transfer data to group companies in third countries, including the United States of America. Transfers are carried out in compliance with Chapter V of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, on the basis of an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Detailed information on the specific providers and applicable safeguards is set out in the Privacy Policy.
6. How to Manage Your Consent
6.1. On your first visit, we display a banner through which you can accept or refuse each category of cookies separately. Until consent has been obtained, only strictly necessary cookies are placed.
6.2. You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the "Cookie Settings" link, which is permanently available at the bottom of each page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
6.3. Withdrawal of consent stops the placement of new cookies in the relevant category. Cookies already placed may be deleted through your browser settings.
6.4. All modern browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Instructions are available on the help pages of the relevant browser, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari, and of any other browser you use. You may also use youronlinechoices.eu to opt out of advertising cookies from participating providers.
6.5. If you block or delete strictly necessary cookies through your browser settings, certain Platform functionalities - including signing in to your Profile, submitting applications and making payments - will not operate properly.
6.6. A record of your consent shall be retained for 12 months, after which the banner will be displayed again so that you can confirm or change your choices. We also retain evidence of consent given, amended and withdrawn in order to comply with our accountability obligation under Article 5(2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
7. Amendments
7.1. This Policy may be amended in response to changes in the technologies used, applicable law or supervisory authority practice. The current version shall remain published on the Platform, together with its effective date.
7.2. If a material amendment affects the categories of cookies or their purposes, we will request your consent again.

8.3. This document has been drawn up in Bulgarian and English. In the event of any conflict or difference in interpretation, the Bulgarian text shall prevail and have full legal effect.
