Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Own strategic planning cycle (monthly/quarterly/annual) and roll out a forecast that links demand, pricing, hedging and P&L.
- Scenario and sensitivity modeling: quantify impact on margin, liquidity and cash flow to support trade and investment choices.
- Counterparty credit risk: set internal ratings/limits, monitor exposures, manage collateral/margining and escalation.
- Risk analytics and reporting: design executive dashboards for P&L, credit exposure and stress tests; deliver concise insights to senior leadership and the Risk Committee.
- Middle office controls: help evolve risk policies, limits and governance; ensure high data quality and timely management information across ETRM/BI systems.
- Cross functional collaboration: align plans with Trading, Back Office, Controlling, Portfolio, Legal and Compliance to connect strategy, planning and risk.
Your profile:
- University degree in applied Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field;
- 3-5 years of professional experience in related fields;
- Experience operating in a trading or portfolio context (exposure, P&L, valuation, limits) is a strong plus;
- Solid command of Financial Planning (driver‑based modeling, rolling forecasts, variance analysis) and Credit Risk (counterparty analysis, internal rating, limits, collateral);
- Familiarity with VaR/stress testing/scenario analysis and risk policy frameworks in a middle‑office setting;
- Understanding of commodity contracts and documentation (EFET/ISDA) is an advantage;
- Fluent English;
- Strong BI skills (Power BI/Tableau), advanced Excel;
- Python, R, VBA and SQL advantageous (data automation, analytics, risk tooling);
- Quantrix experience is a plus (energy modeling, scenario planning);
- Exposure to ETRM/CRM environments is a plus;
