Contribution and key responsibilities:
Mobile Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications, specializing in secure, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces tailored for banking
UI/UX Implementation: Convert design concepts into functional, engaging mobile interfaces; collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver a seamless, customer-centered experience
APIIntegration: Securely integrate mobile applications with back-end APIs, ensuring robust data handling and transaction security in line with banking standards
Code Review & Quality Assurance: Perform code reviews and implement quality assurance practices, maintaining clean, testable, and efficient code optimized for mobile.
Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance for various devices and screen sizes, with a focus on delivering smooth and efficient performance across the Android ecosystem
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, QA, and Back-End Developers to introduce and refine features in mobile banking applications
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve Android-specific issues to maintain a stable, secure, and efficient user experience
For efficiency and effective role performance:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Android mobile application development
Strong skills in Android development, with expertise in Kotlin, Java, REST APIs, Firebase, Android SDK, Git, and code review practices
Familiarity with Android platform-specific design standards, performance optimization techniques, and mobile security best practices. Ability to diagnose and resolve front-end issues effectively
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving front-end issues for seamless mobile performance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Fluent in English
