The Corporate Finance Department at Huvepharma is currently undergoing expansion, presenting you with an exciting opportunity to become part of our exceptional team. We are actively seeking a committed and driven Head of Tax. This professional will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the International Finance Manager and work in close corporation with the Finance Department, Production and Distribution facilities worldwide

 

 

Our new colleague will be responsible for all tax related matters throughout the whole Group with the following main responsibilities but not limited to:

 • Provide internal tax advisory services, including tax advisory activities, on business matters and initiatives within the whole group. You will function as business enabler in the group. 

• Responsible for the organization and compliance with procedure and regulations to guarantee a maximum compliance with tax legislation and the tax guidelines within the Group.

 • Be a central point of contact for guidance and support on Transfer Pricing matters, including but not limited to: o Review and revise the application of group transfer pricing policy; o Offer recommendations to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks, while ensuring compliance with local tax regulations; o Be involved in APA’s and BAPA’s where relevant. 

• Prepare or review tax returns (e.g. CIT, withholding tax, etc.) and other tax reporting requirements.

 • Provide Tax support for quarterly and/or year-end closing process for local and IFRS reporting purposes including Pillar 2. 

• Lead or support ad-hoc local and global tax evolutions and initiatives

Job requirements

Requirements include:

 • At least 8 years of relevant international and transfer pricing experience at a Big-4 tax advisory company. In-house tax experience is an additional plus

 • Degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics

 • Fluency in English and Dutch if based in Antwerp or Bulgarian if based in Sofia (verbal and written) 

• Full time available

• Used to or prefers to work in an international environment 

• Be aware or are interested to explore new digital solutions

 • A proactive and ‘can do’ attitude

 • Enthusiastic, motivated, accurate, team spirit, approachable, strong communication skill
