Business Intelligence Analyst - Sales Controlling

We are looking for a BI Analyst – Sales Controlling to join our team and drive management reporting and data-based analyses that support management decisions and contribute to our strategic goals in the dynamic energy market.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain regular reporting for executive leadership on Power BI Desktop and Power BI Cloud for main KPIs concerning sales development, financial and market data for actuals, forecast and budgets providing insights and to empower business decisions.
• Use Power BI and Power Pivot to automate extraction of data from CRM dynamics, SAP Hana and other systems & sources as well as to maintain a database for sales dynamic and develop comprehensive data models to support business analytics purposes.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analytics tools, implement row-level security and other privacy measures to protect sensitive data.
• Perform various KPIs calculations using financial and commercial sources of information.
• Prepare business analyses of trends and deviations vs. Budget, forecasts and actuals and influencing factors per business units, sales channals, segments and products.
• Initiation and implementation of recommendations for measures related to improvement and optimization in sales results, structure and strategy.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and deliver meaningful insights.
• Produce ad-hoc reports and analyses on a variety of topics for special projects and support business initiatives.
• Calculate and management of KPIs reporting for salesforce performance bonuses.

Your profile:

• University degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analysics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field.
• Power BI Desktop and Power BI Cloud (DAX, Query/M language, data modeling, RLS etc.), Proficiency in Excel (complex functions, Pivot tables, Query, Power Pivot, VBA), knowledge in databases principles.
• Certifications in Power BI, SQL, or related BI technologies is an advantage.
• Very high organization skills, internally-motivated, abile to manage various tasks/priorities and under tight deadlines and to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present complex information in an easily understandable way.
• Good interpersonal skills, including written and oral presentation skills.
• Strong team-oriented behavior and attitude.
• Willing to learn and grow through continuous improvement.
