GLOBALFOUNDRIES Design Enablement Team is seeking a talented and motivated engineer to join the PDK Release Automation team.
Initially this position will focus on configuration and development for a Continuous Build platform for PDK delivery, which is based on Jenkins. This Continuous Build software is tightly integrated with our PDK Release and QA software. This team is responsible for several in-house developed web applications. These web-based applications use Vue/Django as the frontend and backend framework running against an Oracle database. The group also develops and maintains a PDK QA Regression suite and many of the QA tests.
In addition this group is responsible for releasing PDK’s, setting up CAD projects, installing EDA tools and licenses. This position will have a good balance of software development, operations and general user support.
The role is based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Responsible for configuration and development for a Continuous Build Platform

General user support, triage user questions and requests
Responsible for various tasks from the groups operations responsibilities (PDK Releases, EDA Tools and Licenses)

A Bachelor's/ Master's Degree with 4 to 7 years of experience in Computer Science or equivalent
Excellent technical problem solving skills
Demonstrated hands on experience with Python and Shell Scripting
Good attitude and interpersonal skills, tactful and works well in a team environment
Self-motivated, resourceful, shows initiative and needs minimum supervision
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Well organized and exhibits attention to detail
