Yambol
Yambol is located in South-eastern Bulgaria on the two riverbanks of Tundzha River. The city is 77 km from the Black Sea and south of Sofia – Burgas highway. The distance to the capital is 297 km.
The city’s population as of December 2019 is 67 222 people.
The industry is the most important sector in Yambol’s economy. Its structure encompasses the sub-branches food and wine and chemical industry, machine-building and metal processing, textile and knitwear business, sewing industry, etc. New industrial branches are developing in Yambol, such as manufacture of automobile electric equipment and recycling of waste plastic products.
A great significance for the regional economy plays the development of the small and medium enterprises’ business.
The region has established itself as one of the major producers of agricultural produce countrywide.
The GDP per capita in 2018 for the region is BGN is 9 694.
Градският парк е с обща площ 278 декара и включва спортна зала "Диана", Младежки дом, ресторант "Златен рог", Морски клуб и административна. Паркът е реновиран и в него постоянно се обновяват развлеченията за деца и възрастни. Паркът е и утвърдено място за провеждане на големите фестивали от културния календар на Ямбол.
Здравната грижа в града е предоставена от редица здравни заведения – най-значимите сред тях са МБАЛ „Свети Пантелеймон“, МБАЛ „Свети Йоан Рилски“, както и СБАЛ по кардиология.
