Contract Manager

Responsibilities:

• Reviews, analyses, drafts and negotiates large-scale contracts for provision of construction services for solar projects;
• Identifies and outlines the major contractual risks and proposes commercial terms to mitigate the risks;
• Supports the project’s management team for solving practical cases, arising during the contract execution, drafting variation orders for adjustments or changes or claims to the signed contract;
• Supports the project’s management team for correct interpretation and proper application of the signed contracts;
• Drafting and reviewing subcontracts in case of subcontracting part of the activities;
• Provides legal advice on day-to-day operational matters.

Requirements:

• University degree in Law;
• At least 2 years of professional experience in construction;
• Good knowledge of FIDIC-based contracts;
• Experience with other internationally recognized forms of contracts (JCT Contracts, NEC Contracts, VOB/B based contracts, etc.) shall be considered as an advantage;
• Good understanding of the major contractual and commercial elements of construction services agreements;
• Experience in working with various business units across corporate structure;
• Computer literacy, advanced skills in working with MS Office;
• Fluent English language skills (written & verbal);
• Second language (written & verbal) will be considered as advantage.
