For our client, a well-established international company, we are looking for a Accountant (General Ledger) to join their international Finance team in Sofia.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform General Ledger accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and review journal entries
• Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Review Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and cross-functional finance teams
• Support process improvement, automation and digitalization initiatives

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Accounting, including exposure to General Ledger activities, account reconciliations, month-end closing or financial reporting
• Experience with month-end closing, reconciliations and journal entries
• Good understanding of Balance Sheet and P&L
• Very good command of English, both written and spoke
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
