Legal Associate – Mergers & Acquisition

For one of our most trusted clients - well known global law firm, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Associate with excellent legal skills, strong intellectual curiosity, and a genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate across different sectors. 

Responsibilities:

• Support clients on a broad range of corporate and M&A transactions.
• Assist with legal due diligence processes, including reviewing corporate, commercial, and regulatory documentation and identifying legal risks.
• Prepare, review, and contribute to due diligence reports, transaction summaries, and other deal-related documentation.
• Draft and review transaction documents, corporate documents, and commercial agreements.
• Support the structuring, execution, and closing of M&A transactions.
   
• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to help clients achieve transaction objectives.
• Develop an understanding of clients’ businesses, commercial priorities, and the financial drivers relevant to transactions.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law or M&A.
• Experience gained at a reputable international law firm or a strong local law firm is preferred.
   
• Good knowledge of Bulgarian or English corporate and commercial law.
   
• Excellent legal drafting skills and strong attention to detail.
• Bulgarian or international law degree.
• Admission to the Bulgarian Bar (or eligibility for admission).
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Additional international bar admissions are welcome.
