Transportation Manager at our Logistics Center in Stolnik, Elin Pelin.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Defines short and long term transportation plans in line with the company logistics strategy;
• Ensures efficient transportation of goods to and from company stores and logistics centers;
• Organizes and manages all activities and processes related to operations with logistics partners;
• Ensures effective control of the transportation process in accordance with HACCP regulations, including temperature regime, hygiene standards and quality of deliveries.
• Performs analysis on existing transportation and distribution schemes and suggests improvements;
• Defines the required mix of transport assets and equipment and ensures they are maintained in good working condition.
• Continuously optimizes the asset and equipment running costs and utilization level;
• Defines reporting requirements, monitors transport performance and acts on deviations;
• Leads projects that impact the Transportation performance and contributes to projects that go beyond the dedicated area;
• Handles the department annual budget and ensures cost efficiency;
• Organizes and manages transportation team in way that utilizes employees’ full potential.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• University degree in the area of Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other relevant;
• At least 5 years of experience on a similar position, preferably in Retail sector;
• Good business acumen with strong understanding of transportation and warehousing operations;
• Growth mindset, proactivity, curiosity and motivation to develop in Retail industry;
• Solid experience in managing teams and successfully driving performance;
• Proven analytical skills with attention to details that drives decision making;
• Excellent organizational and collaboration skills with ability to work under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines;
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, SAP);
• Good command of English language and clear driving license.
