Category Sales Manager
Your Role
You drive the global growth of one of our product categories and turn market potential into commercial results. You own the category strategy from pricing and positioning to forecasting, sales enablement, and cross-functional alignment, making sure Marketing, R&D, and regional sales teams move in the same direction.
Job requirements
What makes you a great fit:
• You have solid experience in category management, product sales, commercial strategy, or a similar role with international scope
• You know how to grow a product category through smart pricing, clear positioning, and strong go-to-market thinking
• You are confident working with sales data, forecasts, market trends, and competitor insights to make sound business decisions
• You understand how to translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements for technical teams
• You communicate with ease across different teams, functions, and markets
• You are structured, proactive, and comfortable being the person who connects the dots and keeps things moving
• You have a strong commercial mindset and a clear focus on revenue growth and category performance
• You work confidently in English, both written and spoken
Job responsibilities
• You own the revenue targets and growth roadmap for your product category globally
• You define pricing strategy and commercial positioning to strengthen market fit and drive profitability
• You lead demand planning and forecasting together with regional and local sales teams
• You analyze markets, competitors, customer needs, and sales performance to identify growth opportunities
• You translate market insights into product and technical requirements for Product Owners and R&D teams
• You define category priorities and contribute to go-to-market planning together with Marketing
• You create category playbooks, sales materials, and practical tools that help local teams sell more effectively
• You act as the central coordination point between Marketing, R&D, Product Owners, and regional sales teams
• You support alignment across teams to ensure the category develops in line with business goals and market demand
• You track category performance and continuously refine strategy based on results and feedback from the markets
