Role Overview:
For a newly established Shared Service Center, we are looking for GL Accountants to join one of two dedicated teams within the finance organization: Lease Accounting Team or Inventory Accounting Team. This role offers the opportunity to specialize in either lease or inventory accounting within a dynamic, multinational SSC environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Depending on the assigned team, you will be responsible for one of the following areas:

Lease Accounting Team

  • Manage accounting for leases in compliance with IFRS 16
  • Record and maintain right-of-use assets and lease liabilities
  • Calculate and post depreciation and interest expenses
  • Maintain and reconcile lease schedules
  • Support reporting and analysis related to lease agreements


Inventory Accounting Team

  • Manage inventory accounting processes in line with IFRS
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory balances and stock movements
  • Support inventory valuation and costing
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and variances
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations teams


General Responsibilities (Both Teams)

  • Post and review journal entries
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Support closing activities & prepare reports
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS, and SOX requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Treasury, etc.)
  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements


Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Еxperience in accounting (Lease Accountant, Inventory Accountant, GL Accountant, or similar)
  • Good understanding of IFRS (experience with IFRS 16 is a plus for Lease team)
  • Experience with SAP (FI, CO, MM) is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Fluency in English; additional European language is a plus
