About the Role
For a newly established Shared Service Center, we are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support both general and IT procurement activities. The role includes purchasing goods and services, as well as managing IT-related procurement such as software, SaaS solutions, cloud services, and technology contracts. You will collaborate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective purchasing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage purchase orders and outline agreements in SAP
  • Maintain contracts and procurement documentation in SAP and e-procurement systems
  • Manage sourcing and purchasing of goods and IT services (software, SaaS, cloud, maintenance)
  • Request quotes, prepare RFQs/RFPs, and support supplier selection processes
  • Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, renewals, and service agreements
  • Monitor order confirmations, delivery timelines, and quantities
  • Track license usage, vendor performance, and contract renewals
  • Resolve vendor issues, claims, and invoice discrepancies
  • Manage centralized procurement communication (mailbox)
  • Support procurement for small and mid-value projects
  • Prepare reports, spend analysis, and support cost optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and security requirements
  • Support process improvements and digital procurement tools


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement (including IT procurement is a strong advantage)
  • Experience in a Shared Service Center or international environment
  • Experience with SAP (purchase orders, contracts)
  • Understanding of IT procurement (software licensing, SaaS, cloud, SLAs) is a plus
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • English proficiency (B2/C1 level)
  • Additional European language (French or German) is an advantage
