Our IT Department is currently undergoing expansion, presenting you with an exciting opportunity to become part of our exceptional team. We are actively seeking a committed and driven Project Manager.
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants, and managing the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives, oversee quality control, and communicate progress to stakeholders throughout the project’s duration.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones using appropriate tools
Identify project resources and assign responsibilities
Execution and Coordination:
Direct and manage project execution from beginning to end, ensuring that project objectives are met
Coordinate and manage project team members, including internal teams and external contractors, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clear
Monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders, including senior management, and facilitate project status meetings
Budget and Cost Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure project costs are controlled and within approved limits
Conduct financial forecasting and reporting, adjusting project plans as needed to meet budget goals
Risk and Issue Management:
Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans
Proactively address changes in project scope, schedule, and resources, managing project adjustments and communicating impacts
Quality Assurance:
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements through review and testing processes
Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to project methodologies and best practices
Stakeholder Communication:
Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication
Prepare and present regular project reports, including updates on progress, risks, and issues
Project Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, and change logs
Ensure that all project information is complete, accurate, and properly stored
Team Leadership and Development:
Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
Mentor and develop project team members, providing guidance and supporting their professional growth
Post-Project Review:
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
Ensure that project outcomes align with business objectives and that all deliverables meet stakeholder expectations
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a related industry
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly preferred
Proven experience with project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Trello)
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution to manage project constraints and stakeholder expectations
Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn tools and systems relevant to the project
