Job Description:
Group Reporting Services (GRS) is looking forward to welcoming a new Coordinating Data Steward. In this role you support our Group Chief Data Manager and General Manager, Filip Lersch.

Main responsibility areas:
• Data Governance: the Coordinating Data Steward supports the teams under the umbrella of the Chief Data Manager in day-to-day implementation of data governance and data quality related policies and procedures. He/she acts as a Single Point Of Contact & coordinator, also makes sure policies and procedures are implemented in a consistent way across teams.
• Data Quality Management - with the help of the GRS Data Quality control unit, the Coordinating Data Steward:
o looks out for improvement points in processes;
o develops metrics that turn data into actionable insights;
o Analyzes trends in data quality issues and processes, enabling to understand whether our continuous improvement actions have the desired results or where remediation might be needed;
o reports to the Chief Data Manager about the main challenges identified in scope of data quality and related processes and makes improvement suggestions.
• Coordination and collaboration with a broad community of Data Stewards:
o The Coordinating Data Steward, works in close collaboration with:
Local Coordinating Data Stewards in the different countries;
Data Stewards in international departments such as Markets, Group Competence Centers, Asset Management, KBC securities and others, as well as Group functions.
o He/she understands local needs and provides support in data-related matters but at the same time ensures compliance with policies and regulation.
