On behalf of our client, an international company, a leader in its field, we are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant with French and English.
Main Tasks:
- Produce, create and input General Ledger journals to include non-AP/AR bank payments and ensure their accuracy
- Prepare accurate IFRS Management Accounts in adherence to the Month - Quarter- and Year-End Global Close Schedule;
- Performs accruals, reconciliations and analysis of the company accounts on a monthly basis;
- Ensure correct and timely treatment of all employee related costs (e.g. sales commissions, payroll, pension, benefits, bonuses, holiday pay, etc.);
- Review cash forecasts and daily balance for bank accounts;
- Full monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts in adherence to Group guidelines
- Support Country Controller in the preparation, submission and timely payment of the following : VAT, employee related and corporate taxes
- Support the preparation of accurate Statutory Accounts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field;
- 1-2 years work experience
- Fluent in English
- Very good knowledge in French
- Knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP
- Excellent knowledge of MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Previous experience with ERP where SAP experience is an advantage
