Job Description

We're currently looking for a Solutions architect to join our Global Delivery & Support Expert team to drive solution architecture covering Decisioning and Identity & Fraud portfolio.

What you'll be doing:

On this role you will lead the design and communication of high-level solutions architectures, which guide the design and development of solutions that meet DA business current and future needs. Take full responsibility for the architecture of a significant area of Solutions, design quick to market with higher speed to value solutions.

This role will give you the opportunity to play a key role in our business growth. As a key partner of regional Sales, Product Management, programmers, and Delivery, working closely with Clients, you will represent the high authority for solution design of complex solutions, providing strategic client guidance on bridging the gap between business needs, technical issues, and benefits of Experian’s solutions.

Essentially you will be:

  • Accountable for design of regional/local Use Cases and Solutions
  • Leading Solution Design Workshop with internal and external Clients
  • Providing architectural rigour & re-use where possible around repeatable elements
  • Accountable for development of Client/opportunity-specific Solutions
  • Contributing market & Client requirements to Global Product Management & Global Software Architecture to shape products that meet Client and Experian needs
  • Promoting and justifying development of generic/reusable solutions to ensure Client/opportunity-specific solutions are cost & schedule optimized
  • Working alongside Sales & Presales to understand Client & Market drivers, requirements, and challenges
  • Influencing Clients at 'C'-level (esp. CTO/CIO) and below to shape Client architecture and landscape to optimize Experian's access to sell products/solutions
  • Championing a culture that achieves the business goals, delights customers, and keeps consumer advocacy at the heart of everything that Experian does
  • Major player in the production of proposals (RFP/I) and Deal/Opportunity Reviews
  • Supporting Sales & Pre-Sales, providing Product/Service/Solution-based presentations/Demo and Solutioning expertise in developing prospects.
  • Understanding high-level solution design requirements and direct or produce associated sizing, costing estimates where required
  • Providing and co-ordinating solution design input for all kind of SaaS solutions and propositions, including formal responses and client-facing workshops

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience as a proven Client-Solution Consultancy, solutions functional architecture experience in a financial services or similar industry of mid-to-large sized organization i.e., Financial, Banking, Telco, Utilities, Insurance sectors
  • Experience of working with internal & external ‘C’-level managers in setting out Solution Architecture vision and/or value proposition
  • Business and financial knowledge on credit loan decisioning, scoring and analytics
  • Technical knowledge on SaaS/Cloud technology like Docker/AWS platform, REST/JSON, SOAP Webservice, Microservices, Java technologies and working proficiency of any one of Python, NodeJS and SpingBoot
  • Strong grasp of Cloud-based application deployment architectures
  • Knowledge of SaaS/Cloud market, products and related industry practices, concepts, tools, and processes (e.g., DevOps)
  • Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies
  • Strong grasp of Cloud-based application deployment architectures
  • Proven ability to analyse, design, and optimize Client business processes via technology and integration
  • Excellent stakeholder management with excellent verbal, written, presentation and meeting facilitation skills to ensure a clear unambiguous message is consistently delivered
  •  A self-starter with the ability to quickly understand the complexities of technology against the business need to find the best solution against the constraints of time, cost and quality
  • Ability to work with a virtual team and a complex ecosystem of stakeholders
