Your Role and Responsibilities Join a team of services professionals to provide technical services to clients across Europe. Customer satisfaction with IBM and our products is the main aim of the job. 25% of the work will require travel.
Communicate with the client teams and their clients to understand their business problems and goals, then architect, deploy, and provide enablement for solutions utilizing existing IBM Z products
Provide technical assistance to customers who need help implementing IBM Z software or using it to the best of its ability
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years IT Experience
8+ years project management experience
Demonstrated knowledge in managing complex projects and client accounts
Demonstrated knowledge of service delivery projects/programs. z/OS projects a big plus.
Demonstrated knowledge as focal point to customer, internal organizations, and business partners
Support Project Managers in delivering complex projects and programs
Demonstrated written and communications skills.
Management of cross functional teams, with overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to organize competing priorities and adapt to change.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Mainframe IBM Z experience.
Familiarity with project management methodology
Willingness to work flexible time zones is considered an advantage
