We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the Data Quality Management in KBC Global Services. As our Data Engineer, you would have the following responsibilities:

• Collaborating with different IT, business and group entities
• Converting functional requirements into technical requirements
• Ensuring that KBC delivers qualitative data used in calculation engines and reports to national and international regulators
• Being responsible for the proper functioning and maintenance of KBC Group’s central data warehouse
• Receiving hundreds of data streams from all group entities
• Performing data quality checks and constantly improving, wherever possible
• Delivering data towards target systems for many calculations, as well as regulatory and management reporting

Key competences that will help you succeed:

• You have working experience with ETL tooling (PowerCenter, etc.)
• You have working experience with debugging and error handling (experience with reading logfiles)
• You have working experience with Scripting (Perl, Shell, etc.)
• Some hands-on experience with Unix Server
• Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL

• Scheduling knowledge (UAC, control M, Tivoli, etc.)
• File transfer knowledge (Connect Direct, UDM, etc.)
• Knowledge of JIRA/Zephyr/Confluence
• SQL developer knowledge: for writing functions and procedures
• Subversion-BIT bucket or GIT, Jenkins, etc. - for versioning & packaging
• Knowledge of DBeaver
• Working experience in a SAFe environment
