Contribution and key responsibilities:
- Mobile Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications, specializing in secure, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces tailored for banking.
- UI/UX Implementation: Convert design concepts into functional, engaging mobile interfaces; collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver a seamless, customer-centered experience.
- API Integration: Securely integrate mobile applications with back-end APIs, ensuring robust data handling and transaction security in line with banking standards.
- Code Review & Quality Assurance: Perform code reviews and implement quality assurance practices, maintaining clean, testable, and efficient code optimized for mobile.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance for various devices and screen sizes, with a focus on delivering smooth and efficient performance across the Android ecosystem.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, QA, and Back-End Developers to introduce and refine features in mobile banking applications.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve Android-specific issues to maintain a stable, secure, and efficient user experience.
For efficiency and effective role performance:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Android mobile application development
- Strong skills in Android development, with expertise in Kotlin, Java, REST APIs, Firebase, Android SDK, Git, and code review practices.
- Familiarity with Android platform-specific design standards, performance optimization techniques, and mobile security best practices.Ability to diagnose and resolve front-end issues effectively
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving front-end issues for seamless mobile performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
