Role Overview:

As a Senior Consultant in Accounting Advisory, you will advise clients on complex accounting treatments, assist with accounting framework conversions, and provide guidance on the application of new standards. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing complex accounting challenges, supporting clients in implementing new accounting standards, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will work on enhancing financial reporting processes and providing insights to improve financial transparency and decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Advise on Complex Accounting Treatments: Provide expert guidance on intricate accounting issues and collaborate with clients to develop and refine financial models and policies
• Develop Financial Models: Analyze financial data to construct innovative models and shape financial strategies through model build-up .
• Apply New Accounting Standards: Guide clients in implementing the new accounting standards and provide recommendations to refine accounting policies. Ensure seamless integration and compliance when transitioning from one GAAP to another. 
• Inspire Growth: Mentor and supervise junior team members and build a robust and capable accounting advisory team. 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Professionals with 3-5 years of experience in financial audit, financial controlling, or accounting, eager to elevate their careers by engaging with complex and challenging projects. Candidates with less experience could be considered for a junior position.
• Academic degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• ACCA qualification or any relevant financial certification is a strong plus.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and GAAP principles and their application in financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant financial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a critical and open-minded approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is a plus and will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ambition and a thirst for new challenges, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
