dormakaba Bulgaria is looking for Production Manager who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of the production floor, overseeing planning, organization, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives. As the direct manager of all production line managers, including KTV, KIT, Mortise locks, Sliding Doors, and Buehl transfer project production lines, this role is instrumental in driving productivity, optimizing processes, and maintaining high-quality standards.

A job that matters: Your Tasks 

Production Planning: 

• Maintain production schedules across all production lines to meet delivery deadlines.  

Team Leadership: 

• Supervise and guide Assembly managers, providing support and training to enhance team performance. 
• Ensure effective management of teams and production processes within units.  

Quality Control: 

• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve quality issues promptly.  

Efficiency and Productivity: 

• Optimize production processes for efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. 
• Identify and address bottlenecks to streamline workflows.  

Resource Management: 

• Manage manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production targets. 
• Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and downtime.  

Health and Safety Compliance: 

• Promote a culture of safety among the production team, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.  

Communication: 

• Communicate production goals, targets, and expectations to the production management team. 
• Foster effective communication between departments to ensure smooth operations.  

Problem-Solving: 

• Address production challenges promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed. 
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.  

Continuous Improvement: 

• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency. 
• Encourage feedback from team members for process enhancements.  

Reporting: 

• Prepare and analyze production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs). 
• Provide regular updates to senior management on production activities and achievements. 

An experience that matters: Your Skills 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5 years of progressive managerial experience in manufacturing (metal products).
• Proficiency in SAP.
• English language proficiency – B2
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, KPIs, and quality control.
• Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with teams and upper management.
• Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
